am someone who is inclined to be easily overwhelmed around
highly technical stuff. My understanding of computers is
limited, and I had no idea how a website was created. As
I worked with Richard over time, I began to understand
what my part would be in the process, i.e. giving him the
pieces I wanted to see on the site, choosing designs and
colors from the options he gave me, approving—or
asking for changes on --each page as he created it.
Richard
has a great combination of technical knowledge, aesthetic
sensibility and a calm, supportive presence. This made
the process of creating my website a real pleasure.
I
feel that my website does a beautiful job of representing
me, and my work. My feelings and preferences were honored
and respected throughout the process. As a by-product of
going through this process with him, I now understand a
great deal about how websites work; something that has
been empowering and exciting as we continue to update and
improve the site.
